A Call To Action

Image
Love is the strongest stuff ever! Two months of introspecting and soul searching has brought me to a point of no return. I guess am grown, am youthful in my endeavors, even if adversity is an everyday thing life has never been more vibrant than it is. I spent the whole vacation time i had listening to the whole album of the artist depicted on the left side and it left me questioning alot of human tendencies and traits. Drugs are a force to be reckoned with and the last thing an addict would need is hypocrisy where "using" is concerned. The same drug that calms down the rage of a taurus will trigger a virgo to lose his or her cool. Society at large is self-conceited where a gate way drug like Cannabis is concerned. We lack activists who can usher in new recreative ways for the use of these stimulants. Often the use of Cannabis requires a matured state of mind otherwise the paranoi that comes with the various effects of the drug use will inevitably lead one in rehab or in o

Appreciating The Performing And The Fine Arts 🎭

Image
https://m.facebook.com/story 7 years ago i was completely unaware of the performing arts, drama nor theatre as a whole. Though at my High School several students used to rehearse and they were particularly good at what they did. I remember during the hand over ceremony that ensured that my intake (2010) was left the keys to the kingdom, the guys from the Arts department gave the whole school a trip into a cultural ride that even earned a good number of the performers substantial amounts money in tips from the audience. Be as it may, i am utterly engrossed in the fine arts such that any given opportunity where they can be used, to me it seems like it has to has to be grabbed with both hands. The fine arts can be encorporated in the perfoming arts especially where building of sets is concerned. Every good actor and actress is inspired not only by the script but the scene as well. As such it is with great disappointment that i write this blog for the only theatre that seems readily

Echoes of An Eco-System

Image
The talks going on about how climate change is affecting the eco-system couldn't be as loud enough as they are across the global. Sadly though as loud as the sensitization is the trumpets are been blown on deaf ears as the effects become somewhat a sight for colour blind eyes. Recently Ethiopia boastfully announced to the rest of the world how it had managed to plant about a billion trees just between the months May and August, why? Prudence. We can't afford to turn blind eye nor turn colour blind for that matter to the harsh realities that are been infringed upon the environment. As much as it may take a few minutes to take down an Acacia Eucalyptus tree with a chainsaw machine the said tree in it's journey does a whole lot of good to the environment. On my regular mountain hikes in my now adoptive home town, i manage to scale the heights of the "mountain" like hills for a better view of the valley like town, with it's serpentine blue shimmering Ka

Bi-Polar Life in A third world Order

Image
Black or white does not matter when one is diagnosed with bi-polar. It often seems like a curse more than a gift for most of us, again colour is of no consequence if you can't cope or if you don't have adequate family support. As humans we are always living in fear of things that emit immense possibilities and perpetual hope, there are worser things than the mania side of the condition under discussion;things like low self esteem, mediocrity and inferiority complexes are incurable and by far are scourges gnawing and chewing away at most young Africans, though incurable in it that they are not diseases nor disorders they are however controllable cause they are but states of mind inflicted upon us by the very powers that be. Bi-polar disorder can be controlled and very much be used to one's benefit. The secret lies in finding a balance of the day as one takes life one day at a time. Cyclothymia is a much better version or rather a controlled state of the disorder.
